What You'll Do:
Prepare site‑development construction drawings for residential, commercial, and industrial projects Design water, sewer, and storm‑drainage infrastructure using AutoCAD and Civil 3D Develop engineering design considerations and support permitting efforts for land‑development projects Coordinate regularly with clients, project managers, and internal discipline teams Produce and refine models in Civil 3D, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project standards Manage tasks to meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering 4+ years of experience designing land‑development projects using Civil 3D EIT or PE registration preferred (or ability to obtain PE within one year) Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software Clear written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast‑paced environment A client‑service mindset, strong initiative, and collaborative approach Why Thomas & Hutton?
