Job Description

Pennoni is seeking an experienced professional to lead our Site/Civil team as a Division Manager and lead our multi-discipline site design projects on a full-time, direct basis in Winter Haven, FL. This person will have the opportunity to work on a variety of private & public site development projects across various markets!
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a team of engineers and designers Develop and maintain client relationships Manage all aspects of project efforts and interface with clients; this includes making presentations to clients & municipalities (when necessary). Prepare budgets and proposals Supervise and perform site development & design tasks: plan preparation, grading, permit applications (including FDOT and Water Management Districts), report writing, etc. Contribute to stormwater management design: Hydrologic and Hydraulic (H&H) modeling, Erosion and Sediment Control (E&SC) planning, etc. Engage with regulatory agencies. Assist with RFQ responses. Mentor junior-level staff. Provide quality control of staff design & reports. Additional duties may be assigned, as needed. Reports to
Winter Haven Office Director Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering). Professional Engineer in the State of Florida Experience managing staff and clients Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, project management software, etc.); expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D strongly preferred! Experience with stormwater management (SWM) design calculations, especially while utilizing H&H modeling tools; experience with ICPR is preferred. Proficiency on standard office software applications: Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, etc. Proven ability to look at the "Big Picture" as well the project goals in order to coordinate various design disciplines accordingly. Proven ability to work in an energetic & challenging team environment as a collaborative Team Player, especially while maintaining the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Proven ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills, especially when working on a variety of projects while providing solutions to difficult issues. Why Pennoni?
