With 40 years of experience, our company is committed to providing personalized customer service and exceptional design experiences for every client. We specialize in home remodels, as well as new build and addition projects, such as pool houses, 4 season porches, etc. We are currently looking to add a Junior Designer to our team. Our Junior Designer would work closely with the Senior Designer as well as clients on a variety of projects. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Creates and develops designs in collaboration with client's wants and needs. Assists Senior Designer with projects from conceptual design to completion. Involved in client meetings. Meets with clients and subcontractors as necessary. Sources materials, finishes & furnishings as necessary. Works daily with design team, our estimator and in-house carpenters, cabinet makers and masons. Potential to manage multiple projects at one time. Ability to meet project deadlines as needed. Experience Accredited professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field preferred. 1-3 years of Interior Design or Architectural related experience preferred. Knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp required. Knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Revit preferred. Knowledge of construction and materials preferred. Basic understanding of how projects are designed, budgeted, built and completed. Detail oriented, organized, problem solver, innovative thinker, motivated and team player. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time. Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Strong graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas.
