About us We are a small design firm specializing in residential and light multi-family design. Established in 2005, we've built a great network of clients that grows every year bringing new project opportunities and a need for expanding our team! Our portfolio of work ranges from tiny houses and shops to large custom homes and multi-family dwellings. The ideal candidate would have a passion for residential design, enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their dream home goals, and a talent for solving design challenges in creative ways. To be successful in this position, the candidate needs to have a strong attention to detail, be able to self-review their work, and complete tasks on schedule. This is a full-time in office position with growth potential and design freedom. Key Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Create preliminary sets and final construction documents in a timely and accurate manner Collaborate with team members to ensure high quality and functional design that comply with building codes and meet office standards Oversee multiple projects at once utilizing the office CRM tool to record changes and correspondence with clients Prepare and communicate project changes to other team members with clarity Stay updated on industry trends and new design styles
Qualifications:
Ability to produce high quality 3D renderings in color or black and white Proficient with Revit and AutoCad, experience with Lumion a plus Knowledge of Residential Construction methods and IRC building Codes Strong written and verbal communication skills Possess a strong work ethic and readiness to be a team player Google/Microsoft Suite Knowledge Drafting or construction knowledge a plus
Education Level/Experience:
AS in Architectural Drafting or related Field such as Interior Design BS in Architecture not required but a plus Revit 2 years (required) Architectural Drafting 2 years (required)
Job Type:
Full-Time in office (40 hours per week with schedule flexibility) Monday - Friday Weekend overtime available with bonus payouts
Hourly Range:
$18/hr - $24/hr depending on experience
Benefits:
Paid Time Off (10 days per year) Simple IRA with company match up to 3% after 1 year End of year bonuses adjusted based on overall performance of company
