Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing BIM Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in plumbing drafting, design, and BIM coordination, with advanced proficiency in Revit MEP and other BIM software. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating accurate plumbing system models, ensuring alignment with project specifications, construction standards, and applicable building codes.Company Overview:

Coordinate plumbing system layouts using BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks). Convert Revit families into fabrication-ready parts and assemblies using Revit tools. Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil/site, and plumbing drawings. Develop detailed construction design drawings using drafting software. Ensure compliance with architectural and MEP building codes and industry standards. Document and verify existing field conditions with precision and accuracy. Prepare comprehensive shop drawings, coordination drawings, and penetration details. Generate design and coordination RFIs for engineers, PMs, and GCs as needed. Perform routine maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of CAD and BIM software. Maintain current knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and building codes across all trades. Provide internal support to Project Managers and field personnel throughout all phases of the project. Participate in projects from conceptual design through to record drawings and closeout. Lead and manage BIM coordination at LOD (Level of Development) 100-400.Qualifications:
Experience:
3-5 years in plumbing drafting/design and BIM coordination.Software Proficiency:
Expert-level knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; experience with Navisworks and other BIM-related software a plus.Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of plumbing systems, design processes, construction documentation, and code requirements.Coordination Skills:
Proven experience in clash detection and cross-discipline coordination.Field Work:
Skilled in conducting site visits and capturing accurate existing conditions.Communication:
Strong ability to work with internal teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.Organizational Skills:
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and file management habits.Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
3+ years of electrical design experience in commercial, institutional, or industrial settings. Proficiency in Revit is required. Familiarity with electrical load analysis software (e.g., SKM, ETAP, or similar) is a plus. Strong understanding of NEC and other applicable codes and standards. Experience with lighting design and controls. Demonstrates strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to manage design workflow and meet deadlines. Experience with project budgeting is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Technically adept with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to take project form start to finish with minimal direction. Vocational training or degree in plumbing technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field.Additional Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.Background Check & Drug Screening:
