Location:
Somerville, Massachusetts Khalsa Design Inc. (KDI) is an established architectural firm located in Somerville, Massachusetts. Since 1985, our focus has been on providing quality services to our clients while offering leadership and growth opportunities to our staff. Although KDI's client base is diverse, we specialize in Multi-Family Residential, Hospitality, Retail, and Mixed-Use projects.
Position Overview:
KDI is seeking a self-motivated architectural draftsperson with attention to detail and the ability to effectively produce design and construction documents for a variety of projects, with a focus on mixed-use and multifamily structures. A minimum of 3 years of experience producing construction documents is required, along with proficiency in Autodesk REVIT software. Knowledge of podium and wood frame construction is preferred.
Qualifications:
Professional architectural degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in producing construction documents. Understanding of building systems, including experience coordinating structural and MEP drawings. Organized and detail-driven. Able to work effectively with the project manager and the rest of the project team. Proficient in the current version of Revit. Understanding of local building codes, including accessibility and energy codes. Ability to commute to our office in Somerville, MA.
