Job Description

Job Title:
Civil/Structural Designer III Professional Summary The Client is seeking a Civil/Structural Designer III for a one-year contract engagement supporting critical Engineering and Operations initiatives. This role is responsible for producing, updating, and maintaining accurate technical drawing packages across pipeline and facility assets. Working across multiple engineering disciplines within the oil and gas sector, the successful candidate will interpret field data, technical redlines, and project parameters to deliver fully compliant design documentation, directly contributing to process safety information (PSI) accuracy and project execution excellence. Core Responsibilities Execute, update, and maintain comprehensive engineering drawings across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines. Translate complex engineering concepts, project deliverables, and field redlines into precise, compliant CAD documentation. Review, synthesize, and incorporate site markups, photographic data, and as-built information into final project deliverables. Ensure all drawing packages strictly adhere to internal organizational drafting standards (DS 001, DS 002, DS 003) and applicable industry regulations. Prepare high-quality Issued for Construction (IFC) and As-Built drawing packages. Liaise with multidisciplinary engineers, project managers, field operations teams, and external EPC partners to drive design alignment. Maintain rigorous drawing control, revision histories, and document integrity across the complete project lifecycle. Manage competing priorities and multi-project deliverables within high-volume operational environments. Resolve technical drawing discrepancies through the application of technical expertise and sound engineering judgment. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of professional drafting experience within the oil and gas industry. Demonstrated multi-disciplinary drafting experience across mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation design. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. Proven experience developing and updating P&IDs, plot plans, facility layouts, and equipment diagrams. Direct experience interpreting field redlines, site photography, and technical project records. Proven track record of working independently within a contract or distributed team structure. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with corporate drawing standards, record management systems, and proprietary drafting databases (e.g., LPDMS). Knowledge of pipeline and facility operations, control systems, and industrial tagging conventions. Proficiency with additional modeling tools, such as Revit.

Pay:
$53.84 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
