Starting at $70,000+ (Very Negotiable Based on Experience & Qualifications) & Relocation Package Offered Design Extraordinary Homes This is an opportunity to join an award-winning design campus where architecture, engineering, and advanced building systems come together to create truly distinctive homes. We're seeking a Luxury Architectural Designer to help design custom residential and light commercial projects that go far beyond traditional homebuilding. From dramatic post-and-beam residences and elevated homes to unique geometric designs and challenging coastal applications, you'll help transform clients' visions into exceptional, buildable structures. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced designer who wants to work on one-of-a-kind architecture rather than repetitive residential plans. What You'll Do- Meet with clients, sales teams, and project leaders to develop custom luxury home designs .
- Translate client concepts and architectural ideas into detailed, buildable designs.
- Develop and coordinate architectural drawings, shop details, and construction documentation.
- Work closely with the CADD Manager and internal design team throughout the design process.
- Collaborate with engineers, building officials, contractors, and project partners nationwide.
- Develop designs involving post-and-beam construction, elevated structures, coastal environments, and challenging wind-load requirements .
- Help ensure designs meet applicable building codes, structural requirements, and project specifications. What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of residential and/or light commercial architectural design experience.
- Degree in architectural design, architecture, or a related technical field.
- Direct client interaction and presentation experience.
- Strong architectural design and computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
- Experience with elevated structures, coastal construction, wind loads, or post-and-beam design is highly valued.
