In addition, the key candidate will be exposed to both municipal engineering services as well as land development projects. Responsibilities Develop detailed civil engineering designs and schematics for infrastructure projects, including roads, traffic signals, stormwater management systems, and site layouts. Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D as well as stormwater modeling software. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and architectural components into comprehensive system designs. Prepare technical documentation, including construction drawings, schematics, and specifications that meet industry standards and project requirements. Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data, verify design accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Support construction phases by reviewing plans, providing drafting assistance, and resolving design issues promptly. Review land use board applications for conformance with municipal code as well as county/state regulatory requirements. Skills Proficiency in Civil 3D is preferred. Must have working knowledge of 2D CAD at a minimum. Experience with Stormwater Management Design is preferred. Experience with preparation of agency approvals such as soil erosion and sediment control, freshwater wetlands and flood hazard area is preferred but not required. Knowledge of schematic development and system design principles across civil engineering disciplines. Familiarity with construction processes and project workflows from planning through execution. Strong graphic design skills for creating clear visual representations of complex ideas. Ability to interpret technical drawings Skilled in using Bluebeam for PDF markup and document management during review cycles.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
