AutoCAD Drafter

Overview Sage Custom Designs is a custom millwork and design firm working across high-end residential and commercial projects. We work on everything from custom closets and cabinetry to large commercial buildouts, and we move fast. We're looking for a drafter who can produce accurate shop drawings, support both production and client-facing presentations, and bring enough technical range to grow with the role. Responsibilities Produce detailed shop drawings and construction documents in AutoCAD for millwork and cabinetry Develop cabinet layouts and cut lists using CabinetVision, working from client specifications and field measurements Create 3D renderings in 3DS Max for client presentations and design approvals Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure drawings translate accurately to fabrication Revise drawings based on field conditions, client feedback, and production requirements Maintain organized drawing files and version control across active projects Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD — required Proficiency in AutoDesk 3DS Max — required Experience with CabinetVision — strongly preferred Background in millwork, cabinetry, or custom furniture drafting Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously Reliable, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-moving production environment
