Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience to support our architectural team in the preparation of high-quality construction documents. - Produce architectural drawings in Revit including plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Assist in developing permit and construction document sets
- Update drawings based on architect redlines, consultant input, and field conditions
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, civil, and landscape disciplines
- Maintain Revit models in accordance with office BIM standards
- Assist with as-built drawings and construction revisions
- Support RFIs, architectural submittal reviews, and permit revisions
- Organize drawing sheets, notes, and schedules accurately and consistently Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an architectural or AEC office
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit for construction documentation
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and detailing
- Working knowledge of building materials, assemblies, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and consultant drawings
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must pass criminal background check and drug test. Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology, Drafting, or Architecture
- Experience with multi-family, residential, or commercial project types
- Familiarity with local codes, zoning, and permit submittal processes
- Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
