Lenox Corp. is a leading provider of tabletop and home products, and we're seeking a talented designer to support our dinnerware and giftware categories. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated creative with a refined artistic voice—someone who can tell a compelling story through a single image. In this role, you'll report directly to the VP of Design, contributing to both ongoing projects and new initiatives from concept to completion. You'll stay attuned to emerging housewares trends and translate them into fresh, relevant designs. You'll regularly generate new product concepts and communicate them effectively through strong verbal and visual storytelling. Your work will include creating photorealistic renderings that clearly convey design intent, as well as developing detailed technical specifications for production. You'll also review product samples, document feedback, and participate in structured critique sessions. Along the way, you'll deepen your understanding of design strategy, illustration techniques, and manufacturing processes—while contributing your own perspective and creative expertise to the team. We're looking for someone with a BFA in Industrial Design or a related field who is both self-critical and adaptable—comfortable working independently or collaboratively while managing multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is required, along with experience or interest in polygonal 3D modeling using tools such as Blender or 3ds Max. A strong candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in mass-produced ceramics, and be confident in specifying CMF (color, material, and finish) details.
