Job Locations US-PA-Pittsburgh (Moon Township) Category Civil Type Full-Time Overview Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), a growing multi-disciplined consulting firm, is expanding its building-related services to better serve the firm's multi-sector markets. CEC has an immediate opening in our Pittsburgh, PA office, for an Architectural Design Consultant experienced in preparing construction documents using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and overseeing projects throughout all phases. Access to on-site amenities including a fitness center, cafe, recreation areas, and employee events Applicants will have an option to sit in either our Moon Township or Monroeville office locations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering preferred

10+ years design experience on architectural projects

Thrive in a team collaboration and multidiscipline studio environment

Experience with site elements and building architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as Revit and AutoCAD

Ability to evaluate and resolve problems by reviewing multiple sources of information and coordinating design criteria with other disciplines

Experience with construction materials, building codes, and regulatory standards

Background in ADA accessibility requirements

Experience developing material take-offs

Strong oral and written communication skills (prepare meeting minutes and proposal writing)

Some travel should be expected (estimated travel time is under 10%) Preferred Qualifications Architectural license or desire to become licensed

Experience using Navisworks and Bluebeam software

Experience in preparing construction documents and specifications

Experience in providing construction administration services

Experience performing property or facility condition assessments

Experience in design/bid/build and design/build project delivery systems

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and prepare accurate detailed existing drawings
