Job Description

CAD Draftsman/Architectural Designer - Residential Remodeling Revive & Renew Remodeling LLC Dallas, TX Job Details Part-time $20 - $75 an hour 18 hours ago Benefits Referral program Qualifications Renovation Residential construction experience Revit Architecture License Attention to detail Full Job Description Part-Time Draftsman / Architectural Designer — Residential Remodeling (Dallas, TX) Revive & Renew Remodeling LLC | Dallas, TX (Lakewood / Lake Highlands / Dallas area) | Part-Time, Remote with on-site work as needed. About Us We're a premium design-build remodeling company serving East and North Dallas — kitchens, bathrooms, full home remodels, additions, and outdoor living. We work on fixed-price contracts and build our business on referrals, not volume. That means every plan set, every client interaction, and every detail has to reflect well on us. The Role We need a reliable, detail-oriented draftsman or licensed architect to produce floor plans, elevations, and exterior/landscape drawings for our design-build projects — as a part-time employee, not a subcontractor. This is NOT a "send us a plan, don't ask questions" role.
We want someone who will:
Meet with clients directly (sometimes solo, sometimes alongside our team) to understand what they actually want Ask the right questions before drawing instead of guessing Produce clean, accurate, buildable plans — floor plans, elevations, and exterior/landscape concepts Turn work around reliably and communicate proactively if something's going to be late Occasionally visit job sites for measurements or field verification All deliverables are produced under our company brand. If you're a licensed architect, your stamp/license info stays yours where required — but day-to-day work is done as part of our team, not as an outside vendor. What We're Looking For Draftsman, designer, or licensed architect with residential experience (remodels and additions a plus) Strong attention to detail and genuine curiosity about client needs — this isn't a "just draw what you're told" job Comfortable with AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, or similar Reliable communicator — we need someone who answers calls and texts and flags delays before they become a problem Must be local to the East & North Dallas area — this role includes in-person site visits and client meetings Prior experience in a design-build or remodeling context is a strong plus Schedule & Compensation Part-time, hourly employee (not 1099) — hours flexible based on workload, with a consistent weekly commitment Compensation based on experience Path to more hours as workload grows
Pay:
$20.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 30.0 per week
