Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a Civil CAD Designer with Autodesk Civil 3D experience to support municipal and infrastructure projects across South Florida. You will work directly with engineers to prepare construction plans for water, sewer, stormwater, drainage, roadway, grading, and site development projects , including work for local municipalities such as the Water and Sewer Department and Miami-Dade Aviation Department . This is a hands-on design role with exposure to full project delivery from concept development through construction documents and permitting. Responsibilities Develop civil construction drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D Design water, sewer, stormwater, roadway, grading, and paving systems Prepare and revise municipal and utility construction plans Ensure compliance with CAD standards, client requirements, and engineering practices Coordinate closely with engineers and project managers Support permitting and design documentation Perform quantity take-offs as needed Minimum Requirements 3+ years of experience in civil CAD drafting/design (Civil 3D preferred) Experience in a civil engineering consulting environment Strong understanding of civil site design, utilities, and infrastructure plans Familiarity with CAD standards and construction documentation GIS experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Must reside in South Florida Ability to attend occasional site visits and in-person meetings What We Offer At BND Engineers, you will gain broad, hands-on experience across: Water, sewer, drainage, roadway, and site development design Real municipal infrastructure projects across South Florida Direct collaboration with senior engineers Fast-paced learning environment with strong mentorship toward career growth and licensure
