Civil Designer- Land Development A growing multidisciplinary engineering and design firm is seeking a Civil CAD Drafter to join its land development team in the Peachtree Corners area. This is a great opportunity for someone with Civil 3D experience who wants to work on a variety of commercial and site development projects in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Prepare civil engineering drawings and construction documents using Civil 3D . Create plans, details, maps, diagrams, profiles, cross-sections, and site layouts. Convert preliminary designs and redlines into complete working drawings. Prepare utility, paving, grading, and drainage plans for commercial development projects. Review surveys, technical drawings, property records, and project specifications. Assist engineers and project managers with land development projects. Provide drafting and technical support throughout the design process. Review drawings to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other design professionals. Maintain accurate drafting standards and project documentation. Qualifications Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent technical experience. 1-3 years of experience in civil engineering, land development, or a related field. Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D . Understanding of civil engineering and land development principles. Experience preparing grading, drainage, utility, or site development plans is preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a project team.
