Company Description Edsel Engineering is a small civil engineering firm based near Asheville, North Carolina. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Civil Engineering designer/drafter. The employee will be responsible for designing roads, water, sewer, grading, stormwater and developing plans in AutoCAD Civil3D. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent mathematical abilities and familiarity with CAD software Proficient in relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD, HydroCAD, WaterCAD, and Excel Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction documents Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in project management, construction administration, and inspection is a plus Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is a plus
