Truss Designer

Truss design will include designing residential and commercial wood roof and floor trusses utilizing Mitek software that will conform to all model building codes in our market area. Interacting with customers regarding the scope of work to provide a quality truss package within the pricing parameter and solve architectural and design discrepancies throughout the entire design process. A degree in Design, Architecture, engineering or a related field is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities Develop detailed truss designs using Mitek software, ensuring compliance with architectural specifications. Create and modify schematics and drafting documents to communicate design intent. Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate truss systems into overall building designs. Review and revise designs based on feedback and construction requirements. Must be in office. No remote work.
