What You'll Do As a Civil EIT I, you'll learn discipline standards and tools while supporting design and analysis on real projects. You'll collaborate with designers and engineers, contribute to drawings and calculations, and develop the fundamentals needed to progress toward responsible charge. Learn industry standards and SSR technical procedures; apply them on assigned tasks under supervision.

Assist with design analyses using industry software; perform basic computerbased calculations and system design functions.

Support production of designs and documents in Revit and/or CADD; incorporate redlines from senior design staff.

Help coordinate project designs with other disciplines; identify equipment needs and draft technical information for procedures and sequences.

Observe how project managers develop manhour budgets and track progress; contribute organized documentation.

Assist with proposals, technical documentation, and presentations that communicate scope and approach.

Develop clear communication with contractors and sales representatives to understand scope and feasibility (with oversight).

Accompany senior staff on project site visits to investigate field conditions and monitor progress; document observations.

Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, schematics, and engineering reports; maintain neat, accurate files.

Actively participate in internal/external training to expand knowledge in necessary technical areas.

Who We're Looking For Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or closely related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Knowledge of engineering theories/methodologies and industry software (Revit and AutoCAD).

Clear written communication and speech clarity; strong comprehension and followthrough on direction and feedback.

Detailoriented with sound judgment and decisionmaking; collaborative and eager to learn.
