Virtual Design Construction Modeler Confidential Tacoma, WA Job Details Full-time $28 - $34 an hour Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications NavisWorks Writing skills CAD design (engineering design task) Revit Drafting Full Job Description Position Summary VDC Modelers assist VDC Coordinators and the VDC Manager with modeling efforts, including shop drawing production and coordination modeling (e.g., generating 3D geometry from submittals, contract drawings, and coordination meetings). Modelers should be skilled and experienced detailers willing to take on large scale modeling projects. This is an intermediate-to-advanced level position. Essential Functions and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preferred Qualifications Strong verbal and graphic communication ability Strong written communication ability Willingness to be given instruction and follow through with execution Self-starter with ability to work independently and within a team Desire to learn new processes and technologies Understand the sequencing of construction projects as well as MEP and Structural engineering disciplines Strong working knowledge of computer aided design software and understanding of spatial relations Advanced knowledge of Autodesk software is required, including Navisworks, Revit and AutoCAD Management and Technical Skills Support project teams during preconstruction, as needed Develop construction models for scope clarification, operations planning, cost analysis and production Manage and facilitate model coordination efforts Incorporate construction methods in a 3D environment Maintain a high level of competency of relevant software through continued use and training Interpersonal Skills Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all project teams and other various BlueCore Departments Demonstrate a commitment to and promotion of a diverse and inclusive work environment •This is not an exhaustive list of duties, qualifications or skills needed to do this job.

Pay:
