Milwaukee, WI About the Role We are seeking a talented and collaborative Architect to join our growing team. This individual will play a key role in the design and development of projects, with the potential to serve as a Lead Architect for the design team . The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to balance creativity with practicality—producing thoughtful designs that meet client goals while remaining efficient, code-compliant, and buildable. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with project teams and owners throughout the design process, from early concept discussions through completed construction documents. Key Responsibilities Participate in and potentially lead architectural design efforts for commercial projects Meet with owners and stakeholders to understand project goals and develop initial design concepts Translate client needs into conceptual sketches and schematic designs Develop and complete detailed construction drawings and documentation Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and project requirements Collaborate closely with internal design, preconstruction, and construction teams in a design-build environment Maintain a practical approach to design that avoids unnecessary over-design while delivering high-quality solutions Support project teams through the design development and documentation phases Qualifications Professional experience as an Architect with the ability to lead or support a design team Experience working in a design-build environment preferred Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and code compliance Ability to meet directly with owners and guide early design conversations Skilled at conceptualizing ideas through sketching and early design development Highly detail-oriented with the ability to complete comprehensive drawing sets Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 , depending on experience Opportunity to play a key role in shaping project designs and potentially leading a design team Collaborative work environment with strong project teams Contact me directly to learn more about the role.
