Role summary Our client is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented CADD Designer / Drafter to support growing operations across Wyoming. Working closely with project principals, civil engineers, and professional land surveyors, you will turn raw field data, design concepts, and engineering redlines into professional, high-fidelity construction drawings and subdivision layouts. This is a high-autonomy production seat on an agile, multi-disciplined team. Key responsibilities Civil design production. Develop, revise, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D civil engineering design plans and construction drawing packages in Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D . Survey-to-design integration. Process and integrate raw field survey data, points, and notes from the internal surveying division into accurate topographic maps, boundary descriptions, corner records, and site basemaps. Drafting scope. Draft site plans, utility routing layouts, roadway profiles, drainage structures, and earthwork grading groups. Revisions. Turn engineering redlines, municipal review comments, and client updates into accurate design modifications efficiently. Standards and file management. Keep drawing structures compliant with company CAD guidelines, municipal standards, and state regulatory parameters, and maintain organized digital project files on internal servers. Qualifications Associate degree in drafting or design, a technical CAD certification, or equivalent foundational field experience. Civil 3D (required). High daily proficiency and recent hands-on production experience with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D. Carlson Software, Architectural Desktop, or Esri ArcGIS familiarity is a strong plus.

Solid civil drafting background:

site layouts, public and private infrastructure modeling, roadways, utility corridors, or resource and energy pad development plans. Strong spatial reasoning, sharp layout precision, structured file management, and the ability to work highly autonomously within a multi-disciplined team.

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
