Job Description
Drax is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support safe, reliable operations at our renewable energy facility. You will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems on biomass handling and power generation equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, drives, PLCs, sensors, and control loops; reading and updating electrical schematics; supporting shutdowns and projects; and responding to plant upsets. You'll collaborate closely with operations and engineering teams to improve reliability while following strict safety, environmental, and quality standards.
