About the Role As a Field Maintenance Specialist, you will serve as a key technical expert responsible for ensuring the operational integrity of complex commercial laundry systems. You will leverage your mechanical and electrical expertise to diagnose, repair, and optimize equipment performance, directly impacting customer satisfaction and business continuity across the region. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions in commercial-grade laundry machinery to minimize downtime. Execute precise installations and component replacements to ensure equipment meets peak performance standards. Maintain accurate digital records of service interventions, parts utilization, and diagnostic outcomes. Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to streamline the repair process and improve service delivery. Proactively manage your service schedule and vehicle inventory to ensure efficient daily operations. Provide clear, professional communication to clients regarding technical issues and resolution timelines. Support large-scale equipment deployment projects by assisting installation teams with technical setup. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical repair. Proficiency with diagnostic electrical testing tools and reading technical schematics. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating various site environments. Preferred Skills Prior experience working with commercial laundry or similar heavy-duty equipment. Strong computer literacy, specifically with MS Office and digital ticketing or dispatch software. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple service calls independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service.
