Alternative Design Manufacturing & Supply , Inc., a growing metal fabrication company located in Siloam Springs, AR, has an opening for an experienced Electronic Wiring Technician to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Electronic wiring position plays a key role in fulfilling various duties and responsibilities including assembling electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic components and subassemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. Read work orders, follow production drawings, and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fits, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place. Connect component lead wires to printed circuits or routes and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. Test, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues found. Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets. Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies. Maintain production records. Perform assigned tasks as required. Work in a safe manner. Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein, but which your supervisor may assign. Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the company and OSHA.
Requirements:
Technical Certification preferred (electronics/electrical field) 3+ years of electronic wiring experience or a related field required. Must be able to diagnose and repair electronic equipment and also interpret blueprints, schematics and work instructions. Knowledge of electrical wiring techniques and the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instruction accurately. Must have good decision-making and problem solving skills. Must have a team effort mentality and work well with others.
