Job Description

Position Overview Gadget Geeks Pro is seeking a part-time, entry-level Cell Phone Repair Technician. This is primarily a behind-the-scenes production position rather than a customer-facing retail or sales role. Professional repair experience is not required. We are looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working with electronics, and willing to learn. Responsibilities Inspect incoming phones for physical and functional problems Identify device models, storage capacities, carriers, and IMEI numbers Test screens, cameras, speakers, microphones, charging, buttons, batteries, wireless connections, and biometric features Complete common repairs such as screen, battery, camera, speaker, and other component replacements after training Clean and prepare repaired devices for resale Perform quality-control testing after repairs Accurately record device condition, repairs, parts used, and final test results Organize devices, repair parts, tools, and work areas Package completed devices for wholesale orders Follow company procedures for data handling, account locks, device security, and inventory Notify management when a device has an unusual issue or requires advanced repair Qualifications No professional phone-repair experience required Interest in electronics, technology, repair, or hands-on work Strong attention to detail Ability to follow written repair and testing procedures Basic computer and data-entry skills Good hand-eye coordination and comfort working with small components Dependable attendance and time management Ability to work independently after training Willingness to perform repetitive tasks accurately Preferred but Not Required Previous phone, tablet, computer, or electronics repair experience Experience building computers or working with small electronics Familiarity with Apple and Android devices Experience using hand tools, heat equipment, or soldering tools Warehouse, inventory, refurbishment, or quality-control experience Training and Development Paid training will be provided for our inspection, testing, repair, documentation, and quality-control procedures. Employees may have opportunities to learn more advanced repairs and take on additional responsibilities based on reliability, repair quality, productivity, and business needs. Work Environment This position involves seated bench work, handling small parts and tools, using computer-based inventory systems, and processing multiple devices during a shift. Accuracy and consistency are more important than rushing through repairs. You will be repairing a large quanitity of devices daily.
Pay:
$15.45 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 per week
