Back Fiber Technician Fiber Technician Tucson , Arizona Direct Hire Oct 6, 2026 Fiber Technician GridSource is seeking dependable, motivated Fiber Technicians to join our team in the Tucson, AZ area. No prior fiber experience is required —we provide the training you need to succeed. What You'll Do Perform residential fiber-optic installations. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Assist other technical personnel with assigned duties as needed. Provide customers with a professional, courteous, and positive experience. Arrive on time and be dependable for scheduled assignments and on-call work. Ask appropriate questions to clarify instructions and resolve customer or technical issues efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Need A reliable truck, van, or SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and a 28-foot ladder. A ladder rack is preferred. Your own standard telecommunications tools, including drills and hand tools. An Android smartphone Additional equipment may be required by local management. Ability to safely work at heights of up to 25 feet . Ability to safely lift and move up to 80 pounds . Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours, including mandatory overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Must maintain a clean driving record.
