Transmission Technician

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated transmission technician to join our transmission and gear shop. In this role, you will be responsible for removing and replacing transmissions as well as select service and gear work. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers, helping them get back on the road quickly and confidently. This position is a great opportunity for someone with natural skill for mechanics, eye for detail, and team player mentality. Responsibilities Remove and replace transmissions, including manual and automatic. Perform related repairs such as clutch replacements, fluid changes, and drivetrain repairs. Conduct inspections of drivetrain components. Mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently. Communicate clearly with service writer. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on transmissions. Have own tools. Pay:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
