Job Description
- NOW HIRING: Electronics Technicians/Engineering Technicians In Carlsbad, CA
- $32 - $38/hr
- Job Description
- The technician will support activities including design, testing, check-out, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems. The role involves moderately complex work that requires considerable judgment and initiative in resolving problems and making recommendations.
- Responsibilities
- + Support the main assembly and production line by building complete machines from subassemblies.
+ Perform calibration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
+ Act as a bridge between production associates and engineering when needed.
+ Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
+ Conduct engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work.
+ Perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
+ Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions.
+ Assist in the design, assembly, test, and check-out of test equipment.
+ Use manufacturing, test, development, or diagnostic equipment, including test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
- Essential Skills
- + Troubleshooting skills with minimal supervision. + Strong electro-mechanical assembly experience. + Ability to read schematics and technical documentation. + Comfortable running calibration, testing, burn-in, and integration activities.
- Additional Skills & Qualifications
- + Experience assembling and building complete machines/systems. + 3+ years of relevant technician experience preferred. + Component-level troubleshooting experience is helpful + Degree is not required.

- This is a Contract position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $32.
00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
