Job Summary:

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Senior Process Sustaining Engineering Technician to support a leading medical diagnostics manufacturer. This hands-on role will focus on troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving production equipment within a GMP-regulated environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment issues. Diagnose failures, perform root cause analysis, and minimize production downtime. Support automated equipment, equipment installation, qualification, and continuous improvement activities. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve equipment and process issues. Maintain accurate GMP maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation.

Requirements:

Previous GMP-regulated manufacturing experience required. 5+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance, engineering technician, or related experience preferred. Strong mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance and automated production equipment. Experience with pneumatics, sensors, motors, PLC-controlled equipment, or similar systems preferred. Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or diagnostics manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Ability to work onsite in Carlsbad on 1st shift.
