The Role Anchor Medical Solutions is seeking an Ultrasound Probe Repair Technician to join our technical repair team in Garden Grove, California. This is a hands-on technical position responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing, and documentation of ultrasound probes and transducers. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting abilities, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform precise repair work while following established quality procedures. Experience repairing ultrasound probes, medical devices, electronics, or other precision equipment is highly valued. What You'll Do Inspect and evaluate incoming ultrasound probes to identify damage, defects, and performance issues Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, acoustic, and physical failures Perform repairs on ultrasound probes and associated components using established repair procedures Complete precision disassembly, component replacement, reassembly, and finishing work Utilize diagnostic and testing equipment to evaluate probe functionality before and after repair Perform electrical safety, leakage, functionality, and quality testing as required Document repair findings, work performed, parts used, and final testing results accurately Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and Quality Management System requirements Maintain organized repair workstations, tools, equipment, and materials Identify recurring failures and communicate technical findings to leadership and quality personnel Support continuous improvement efforts related to repair quality, efficiency, and turnaround time Follow applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and other technicians to ensure repairs meet company standards and customer expectations What We're Looking For Experience with ultrasound probe/transducer repair is strongly preferred Experience repairing medical devices, electronics, biomedical equipment, or other precision equipment is a plus Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Comfortable working with small components and performing detailed, precision-oriented work Familiarity with soldering, electrical testing, hand tools, microscopes, multimeters, or similar repair equipment is preferred Ability to read and follow technical procedures, work instructions, and documentation Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Ability to accurately document repair activities and testing results Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new repair techniques Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple repairs and priorities Preferred Qualifications Previous experience repairing ultrasound probes or transducers Biomedical equipment, electronics, electrical, or technical repair background Experience working within an ISO 13485 or other regulated quality environment Experience with medical device repair documentation and quality procedures Technical certification, trade school education, or relevant electronics/biomedical training is a plus Compensation & Benefits $29.00-$32.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Full-time, non-exempt position Monday-Friday schedule On-site in Garden Grove, CA Health benefits Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) retirement plan Why Anchor Medical Solutions?
