Job Description
Position Summary:
As a Service Technician at one of our luxury apartment communities, you have a unique opportunity to use your valuable expertise to make a difference in the lives of our residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Performs maintenance service requests and preventative maintenance work throughout the community.
- Completes property preventative maintenance on required systems and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to diagnose problems and recommend repairs
- Performs turn service for vacant units in accordance with established quality standards.
- Understanding of progress to key performance indicators and identifying opportunities.
- Ensures community common areas and grounds are maintained according to company standards; identifies and resolves any hazards.
- Provides excellent customer service through responsiveness and positive interactions.
- Performs work using safe work practices. Ensures completion of safety training and actively identifies and mitigates risks.
- Responsible for inventory of parts and appliances; responsible for general maintenance and orderliness of facilities.
- Maintains accurate records of work performed utilizing Salesforce
- Performs community projects which could include painting, drywall repair. stucco repair, etc.
- After hours emergency calls response Minimum Qualifications /

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of maintenance experience required.
Other:
Required Certification:
EPA (Core and Type II) 608- Valid California driver's license; Maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law. (This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability a plus
- Ability to move in and out of a variety of positions which include the following: sitting, standing, walking, squatting, stair and ladder climbing, kneeling, belly crawling, overhead reaching, lifting, carrying
- Ability to push and pull up to 60 pounds of force
- Ability to lift below waist up to 48 pounds and above waist 34 lbs
- Ladder climbing
- Occasional, Unilateral balance
- Average of 20 seconds or more per leg
- Must complete and pass pulmonary exam and respirator fit test.
- Travel between communities may be required daily.
- Ability to perform these functions at multiple sites is required.
