Job Description

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES 1.
Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance (PM) schedules; conducting functional test; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions; calling for special service; maintaining equipment inventories. 2. Performs calibration procedures on measurement and test equipment. 3. Maintains the preventative maintenance program in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP's) 4. Accurately documents all PM's performed along with gathering all information from vendors who conduct preventive maintenance services. 5. Maintains safe and healthy working environment by conducting safety inspections, recommending and complying with procedures. 6. Maintains equipment supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt. 7. Performs miscellaneous duties to support manufacturing, and other duties, as assigned. 8. Performs "On Call" responsibilities, weekend and after hours. 9. Maintains in depth knowledge of manufacturing departments process flow, practices & procedures 10. Performs a variety of complicated tasks, including repairing equipment, making improvements to existing equipment, and building new custom equipment. 11. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION & TRAINING
High school diploma/general education diploma (GED) or equivalent combination of education/experience.
EXPERIENCE A
minimum of 5 years of equipment maintenance experience in an industrial setting. Familiarity working in a GMP environment. SKILLS Mechanically inclined with electrical and mechanical skills. Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Managing System. Demonstrated knowledge and aptitude in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and construction tasks. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Conscientious with good decision-making ability and ability to complete multiple tasks.
Pay range:
