Automation & Robotics Maintenance Specialist, 1st Shift - Moorpark, CA At Pentair , you will work alongside passionate problem-solvers who are committed to the future of our planet. We have an opportunity for an Automation & Robotics Maintenance Specialist to join our Moorpark, CA, team. You will use your knowledge, skills, and effort to safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will utilize preventative maintenance processes on all production equipment to maintain minimal interruptions to production. In addition, you will work with limited supervision and assist with the training and development of Junior Techs.
You will:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Wittmann linear robots, Fanuc 6-axis robots , and associated automation systems supporting injection molding operations. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and mechatronic systems to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on robotic, automation, and injection molding equipment. Troubleshoot and maintain AC/DC electrical systems, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, sensors, controls, and automation networks. Utilize machining, fabrication, and welding skills to repair, modify, and improve automation equipment and tooling. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings. Train and mentor other maintenance technicians on robotic systems, troubleshooting methods, and maintenance best practices.
Key Qualifications:
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons. Strong electrical background, including AC/DC electricity, high-voltage panel work, motors, drives, and controls; Electrician's license preferred. Experience with PLCs, automation controls, mechatronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Hands-on experience with manual machining, CNC machining, or a machinist apprenticeship. Welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AutoCAD drawings. Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop technicians and operators. Full ability to frequently stand, walk, sit, twist at the waist, bend, lift (up to 50 pounds), and reach with hands and arms. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Steel-toed footwear is required.

The anticipated hourly pay range for this role is $34.00+/hour, DOE . Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.

either 6am-2:40pm, 7am-3:40pm, or 8am-4:40pm (based on team needs) OT and weekends required as needed
