Job Description
Sr. Thermal Lab Technician/Jr Thermal Test Engineer
- This person will be responsible for assisting with thermal, power & performance testing, characterization, & measurement activities related to companies products.
- Experience testing computer and/or mobile devices, especially android platforms.
- Proficiency in basic thermal measurement methodologies. Thermocouple experience is a hard requirement . e.g., thermocouple placement, obtaining readings using automated data acquisition, and working with instrumentation such as thermal heads, thermal chambers, etc.
- Strong testing, troubleshooting, & data analysis skills.
- Strong drive and passion to provide accurate data with attention to detail, and ability to execute sometimes very-repetitive manual test procedures.
- Proficient in using Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, MATLAB, Python or equivalent.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Thermal lab management including organization lab space and equipment.
- Education & Experience BS/BA in Engineering or Sciences and 3+ years related experience.
