Leading electronic testing company (Roseville, CA 95747 - Onsite) W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL 40 hours/week, 24 Month Assignment A leading electronics testing company is seeking a Calibration Service Technician to support service center operations by calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining high-end electronic test equipment.
Calibration Service Technician Responsibilities:
Perform calibration, adjustment, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and service requirements. Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, implement corrective actions within assigned scope, and escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or engineering support as needed. Support customer service operations by executing calibration and repair assignments, maintaining productivity, quality, throughput, and turnaround time goals while ensuring high workmanship standards. Collaborate with service engineers, field teams, and support staff to resolve technical issues, support internal operations, and ensure timely, high-quality service delivery for internal and external customers. Maintain compliance with ESD controls, connector care requirements, service documentation, quality programs, and continuous improvement initiatives while effectively managing tools, equipment, resources, and production documentation.
Calibration Service Technician Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in the calibration and repair of electronic test and measurement equipment is preferred. Technical education, specialized training, military technical experience, or equivalent experience in electronics or a related field. Strong electronic and mechanical troubleshooting aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing technical equipment. Knowledge of ESD controls, connector care, quality standards, and calibration or repair processes.
