Job Description

Liberty Test Equipment is seeking an Electronics Calibration Technician with experience calibrating oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other general-purpose test and measurement equipment. Candidates must be available for full-time employment (Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM). We will conduct a background and driving record check.
Job Description:
Calibrate Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power Supplies and other General Purpose Test & Measurement equipment Run manual and automated calibration and adjustment procedures Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of test equipment Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc. Identify and correct measurement errors, as applicable Prepare calibration reports and certificates Maintain working and/or secondary calibration standards Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurement tasks for which they are not principally used Maintain high workmanship standards. Promote ESD, Service Note compliance, and other programs conducive to the delivery of high-quality service and minimization of re-repair. Interact with other technicians, customer service representatives, account managers, and customers Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
Requirements:
Minimum two years of calibration experience some of which can be offset by formal metrology training Experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other general purpose test equipment. Previous experience at a calibration company is a plus. Experience using automated calibration software platforms such as MetCal is a plus. Basic ability to troubleshoot repair, align and optimize electrical test equipment Must possess good written and oral communication skills Must have very good interpersonal and customer service skills Strong attention to detail Must be a self-motivator, work as a team player, and follow written procedures Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds without assistance Basic computer skills Occasional standing and bending are required High School diploma or equivalent
Pay:
$22.00 - $29.00 per hour
