ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a technician with a strong electrical background who works well independently. You will build, debug, and support prototype and production hardware, from bare boards to finished units.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Solder PCBs, including fine-pitch and micro-soldering on dense, high-density boards Build and organize robust wire harnesses; splice and terminate wire Crimp connectors (JST, Molex, RJ45, and similar) Assemble, bring up, and debug prototype and pre-production electronics Read and work from schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams Operate a 3D printer for enclosures, jigs, and test fixtures (light, occasional work) Collaborate with the engineering team to isolate issues and improve build processes
REQUIREMENTS
Strong micro-soldering skills, including fine-pitch SMT, rework, and repair Electrical harnessing and cable assembly Connector crimping (JST, Molex, RJ45, and similar) Strong communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams Basic 3D printer operation (FDM) Familiarity with bench test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply) Basic software or scripting knowledge CAD experience is not required for this role.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary:
$70,000 - $90,000 per year Annual bonus of 10% of salary, paid in two installments 401(k) Health care coverage
