Full Job Description Technician Responsibilities:

• Ensures proper check-in and check-out of equipment
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various types of Stihl outdoor power equipment
• Diagnose and repair Stihl equipment, following the Stihl engine check worksheets and evaluations
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs to customers in person and on the phone
• Utilize diagnostic tools (MDG, ADG) and manuals to troubleshoot problems effectively
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used and service history
• Provide excellent customer service, including explaining repairs and equipment operation
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering parts and maintaining stock levels
• Work effectively in an outdoor environment, adapting to varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in sales and storage areas. Cleaning and dusting shelves and merchandise as necessary
• Keep work area clean and orderly to ensure a safe work environment for teammates and customers
• Effectively utilizes Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), Technician will be working with and exposed to fuel, oil and cleaning chemicals
• Excellent communication and the ability to work independantly are essential.

Sales floor responsibilities inclue:

• Helping customers select the correct Stihl tool to achieve and meet their needs
• Identifying & recommending accessories-saw chain, trimmer line, etc.
• Warranty & new product registrations
• Possess knowledge of store layout and location of products or direct customer to appropriate associate
• Ensure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courtesously and effectively
• Assist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area
• Standing for long periods of time, walking, lifting (up to 50 pounds) often and climbing ladders occasionally
• You must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour
