Job Description

This Wireless Engineer II contract opportunity is based in Denver area, supporting a leading Wi-Fi Hardware Development team focused on next-generation wireless technologies including WiFi 7, WiFi 6e, and advanced extender and enterprise controllers products. This is a full-time contract role working hands-on with cutting-edge wireless hardware in a lab-driven engineering environment. If you're looking for a role where you can work directly with emerging wireless standards, complex hardware testing, and industry-leading tools, this is it. You'll join a team pushing the boundaries of Wi-Fi performance and reliability, gaining exposure to high-end test equipment, vendor collaboration, and deep protocol analysis. This position offers strong technical growth, continuous learning, and the chance to influence next-gen wireless product quality.
Contract Duration:
6-12 Months, extendable Required Skills & Experience
  • In-depth knowledge of WiFi 7, WiFi 6e, and 802.11 protocols
  • Strong understanding of wireless networking, OSI model, and TCP/IP
  • Wireless standards testing, performance evaluation, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of
IEEE, ANSI, 802.11
variants, switching, routing, and Ethernet
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of wireless network or hardware testing experience
  • Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional or equivalent vendor training Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with customer premise equipment (CPE) hardware
  • Familiarity with lab environments and structured test methodologies
  • Vendor engagement for bug remediation and requirement alignment
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Ixia, Spirent, Octobox, Rohde & Schwarz What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown
  • 60% WiFi 7 / WiFi 6e / 802.11 Protocol Testing
  • 40% Wireless Networking, Switching, Routing, Ethernet Technologies Daily Responsibilities
  • 70% Hands On Testing (performance, conducted, OTA)
  • 10% Management Duties (vendor coordination, issue tracking)
  • 20% Team Collaboration (engineering, QA, hardware development)
