Job Description
Sys Config and Install Tech II - req1760 OVERVIEW This position is responsible for the set-up, staging, and packaging of X-Ray and Ultrasound products. The incumbent will provide support to the Staging, Planning, and Service departments by performing mechanical, configuration and installation duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for testing multi-modality products prior to selling or demos. Updates and creates work instructions for the staging, testing and QC of X-Ray and UL Modalities. Troubleshoots systems with support from product engineers. Managers the Mobile and UL staging area, ensuring the area is clean, organized and tools are properly maintained. Performs QC on work completed by Technician I. Supports verification and validation activities by Engineering. Supports CAPAs by providing technical data to engineering for evaluation and analysis. Performs installation and repairs of tradeshow equipment. Conducts technical training; OJT of dealers and internal Service Engineers. Assists Technical Support with acquiring parts/materials for service events. Supports computer configuration by staging and performingQC. QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures regarding assembly of devices. Ability to follow procedural manuals. Experience with medical imaging devices and products, preferred. Experience with graphic design for System ID Labels preferred. Experience with installing computer software preferred. Successful candidate will be able to multi-task and will be detail-oriented. High School or GED Vocational/Technical training in lieu of HS degree or GED 2 years Systems installation and configuration or technical field engineering.Pay Information:
