This role operates on a 4/10 first-shift schedule, running Monday through Thursday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm. Compensation is set at $35.96 per hour with overtime eligibility. While a security clearance is not required to begin, the successful candidate must have the ability to obtain one. Professional Requirements Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience, including a high school diploma.
Key qualifications include:
Proven background in the measurement and handling of optical components. Technical proficiency with calibration instrumentation such as interferometers, autocollimators, optical alignment scopes, IR equipment, oscilloscopes, RF generators, and DMMs. Practical experience working with electronic systems. Hands-on experience performing physical calibrations. Familiarity with the IndySoft calibration management software. Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office Suite to interpret technical documentation and procedures. Core Responsibilities Ensure optical and electronic measurement tools meet established accuracy standards. Maintain and adjust various measuring instruments, including electromechanical, pneumatic, and pressure-based devices, to support operational precision. Develop and implement calibration workflows based on technical blueprints and specific project requirements. Perform maintenance tasks such as disassembling, cleaning, and repairing faulty test equipment components. Contribute to quality assurance by monitoring processes to ensure consistent output.
