August 31, 2026 Electronics Engineering Lab Technician Pinellas Park, FL $33 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description Position Summary The Electronics Lab Technician supports the Electrical Engineering team through hands-on prototype builds, testing, and validation activities in support of product development and design iteration. This role is primarily bench-focused and emphasizes prototype assembly, functional verification, and development testing. The position requires strong practical electronics skills, attention to detail, and the ability to clearly document technical results. Key Responsibilities Perform bench-level electrical and electronic testing using standard lab equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and loads. Build, assemble, and modify electrical and electronic prototypes in support of engineering development, validation, and design iteration. Perform component-level troubleshooting and rework, including soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components. Configure, assemble, and maintain custom fixtures and test setups required for prototype evaluation and development testing. Execute defined test procedures and document results clearly, including measurements, observations, and conclusions. Provide limited support for investigation of returned or abnormal units when required. Maintain lab organization, equipment condition, consumable inventory, and general housekeeping in accordance with safety and quality expectations. Collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to support development testing, validation activities, and corrective improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience taking electrical measurements and troubleshooting electrical/electronic circuits. Demonstrated experience using oscilloscopes and other electronic test equipment. Ability to solder small electronic components to printed circuit boards. Experience building and testing small electronic and electrical prototypes. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic technical documentation. Experience documenting test results, findings, and technical observations. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined test procedures. Willingness to perform routine laboratory housekeeping and equipment upkeep. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience supporting engineering development or product testing environments. Familiarity with prototype build processes, test fixture development, or validation testing. Working Conditions Primarily laboratory-based with hands-on bench work. Occasional lifting of test equipment or products. Work involves use of electrical test equipment and evaluation of powered systems using established lab procedures, protective controls, and safety practices. Our Commitment to
