This role is ideal for candidates with fiber splicing experience who enjoy working hands-on with cutting-edge telecommunications infrastructure in both indoor and outdoor environments. Responsibilities Perform fusion splicing on single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cables Install, route, organize, and terminate fiber optic cables and related infrastructure Build and organize splice trays, enclosures, cabinets, and fiber distribution equipment Conduct fiber testing using OTDR, OLTS, power meters, and other testing equipment Troubleshoot signal loss, damaged fibers, and connectivity issues Read and interpret fiber schematics, splice diagrams, blueprints, and construction drawings Maintain accurate splice records, test reports, and project documentation Coordinate with project teams to complete work safely, efficiently, and on schedule Inspect and maintain tools, vehicles, and testing equipment Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards Requirements Fiber optic splicing and termination experience Experience using OTDR, OLTS, power meters, and fiber testing equipment Ability to read fiber schematics, splice diagrams, and construction drawings Experience troubleshooting fiber optic networks and connectivity issues Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Knowledge of safety procedures and job site best practices Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments Preferred Experience 1+ years of fiber splicing experience Data center, telecommunications, or outside plant experience Ribbon fiber and high-count fiber splicing Fiber certification and quality assurance testing Construction, telecommunications, or utility industry experience Experience maintaining as-built drawings and project documentation What We Offer Competitive pay Overtime opportunities Benefits available Stable, long-term opportunities Training and advancement potential Diverse project environments Team-oriented work culture Opportunity to work with cutting-edge fiber optic technology If you're looking for an opportunity to grow your fiber optic career while working on critical telecommunications infrastructure projects, apply today. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
