Position Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Torque Converter Rebuilding Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to take on increasing responsibility. This position is not just a job—it's a long-term career opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild torque converters to meet quality standards Operate lathes, welders, and other shop equipment as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Work with precision tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency Follow safety protocols and company procedures Learn and understand shop workflow, inventory, and quality control processes Take on leadership responsibilities over time, including training and supervising team members
Qualifications:
Previous experience in machining, automotive repair, or torque converter rebuilding is a plus but not required (we are willing to train the right person) Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities Leadership qualities and ambition to move into a management role Dependable and hardworking team player Why Join Us?
