Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and electronic equipment across manufacturing and facility operations. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of electrical circuits, circuit boards, and electro-mechanical components, contributing to the seamless operation of our production processes. Responsibilities Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on complex electrical systems, circuit boards, and electronic equipment using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Read, interpret, and develop electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings using CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Conduct circuit testing and verify electrical wiring integrity to ensure compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Assemble, install, and maintain electrical components such as circuit boards, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), surface mount technology (SMT), and electro-mechanical parts. Utilize scripting languages like Python or CAD scripting to automate testing procedures or streamline maintenance workflows. Support project scheduling activities by coordinating tasks related to electrical system upgrades or new installations. Use mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair and maintenance tasks involving electrical wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly. Experience Proven experience in electrical engineering or a related field with a focus on manufacturing or industrial environments. Hands-on experience with PCB (printed circuit boards) design, electronic circuit troubleshooting, and schematic interpretation. Familiarity with electrical diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and circuit testers. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings created with CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit. Knowledge of NEC standards for safe electrical system installation and maintenance practices. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electronic systems troubleshooting, and electro-mechanical components. Mechanical aptitude combined with experience in maintenance, repair operations (MRO), surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and equipment troubleshooting.
