With core skills in E & I, mechanical knowledge, and industrial maintenance, you will excel in tasks such as calibration, troubleshooting process control issues, field device repairs, sensor installations, and electrical installation . This role is in a chemical plant and chemical plant experience is required. Job Duties Maintain, repair and calibrate instruments & controls. Maintain and repair electrical systems. Maintain, repair and calibrate instruments & controls - PH Sensors, control valves, I/P, Pressure Transducers, RTDs, Thermocouples, PH Sensors, etc. Maintain and repair electrical systems, PLC I/O, Standalone Controllers, PID Loop Tuning, VFD Install and Startup/Troubleshooting, wireless sensors Perform routine & preventative maintenance on the process control systems. Install, troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, instrumentation and analytical equipment, following electrical code, manuals, procedures, schematic diagrams, P&ID's, blueprints and other specifications. Install new instruments & controls, and new electrical systems. Ability to install conduit and electrical circuitry from point A to point B and keeping system up to electrical codes. Troubleshoot electrical problems and repair. Instrumentation Technician Duties Qualifications High school diploma or GED required ISA, NCCER or equivalent certification as Master E&I Technician Preferred Electrical License Preferred Experience with National Electrical Code Guidelines Experience with safe electrical practices, Arc flash NFPA 70E and safe hot work practices Associate's degree in Electronics/Automation and/or work experience Chemical Plant or Refinery experience required
Pay:
$55.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
