7:00 AM to 3:30
PM Compensation:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour, depending on skillset and experience level
Position Summary:
PrideStaff is seeking an Operator 1, Modulator Winder responsible for the assembly and testing of components used in the manufacturing of fiber optic gyroscopes in Tinley Park, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
Wind fiber around the modulator using a winding machine and benchtop magnifier. Apply adhesive with a nematic dispenser and UV curing wand. Perform fiber handling and manage torque requirements. Assemble modulators in the coil assembly. Complete necessary stock transactions. Operate Hene Laser equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
0 to 1 year of relevant or similar experience is preferred. Ability to remain at a workstation for extended periods of time during each scheduled shift. Practice safe operating procedures, keep the work area clean, and report all safety hazards. Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
Export Control Requirements:
Separate from employment eligibility, U.S. export license requirements may apply before certain non-"U.S. persons" can access specific technology, software, and hardware necessary for this position. As such, this position may require ITAR or EAR clearance.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
