Technology, Software, IT, Electronics Description Description Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Engineering Technician III to join our team as a Cable Assembly Technician supporting the US Army, Navy Business Group in Bedford, IN
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting various types of cable assemblies used in different applications for military Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma/GED and zero years of experience. PCB Assembly & Rework (Surface Mount, Through-Hole, BGA). Soldering/Desoldering per
IPC-7711, IPC-610, J-STD-001.
Electronics Component Identification & ESD Precautions. Reading Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, Process Routings. SPC Data Collection & Analysis. Engineering Documentation & Reporting. Troubleshooting & Repair of Electronic Systems. Avionics Systems Integration & Maintenance. No clearance required to start however must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision. Capability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Standing, sitting and twisting for periods at a time.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
8-10 years Avionics Assembly, Repair, Installed wiring, Connectors, Control boxes, Antennas, Electronic components. Perform highly skilled soldering and desoldering of fine-pitch components using microscopes and precision tools.
