Job Description

Calibration Technician Field-Based | Full-Time Ready for a role where no two days are the same? We're looking for an experienced Calibration Technician to join a growing technical team, working with customers across a wide range of industrial environments. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and getting stuck into different types of equipment . You'll be trusted to manage your own workload while becoming a key technical contact for customers and colleagues. What you'll be doing Calibrating, servicing and troubleshooting industrial weighing equipment. Working on everything from bench and floor scales to tank, hopper and heavy-capacity truck scales . Carrying out preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs. Installing and commissioning weighing systems. Diagnosing complex technical faults and finding practical solutions. Completing accurate calibration certificates and service documentation. Working to ISO/IEC 17025 and NIST Handbook 44 standards. Supporting customers with technical issues and building strong working relationships. Providing guidance and support to junior technicians. Managing your own daily field schedule and assignments. What we're looking for You'll ideally have: 3-5+ years' experience working with industrial weighing, calibration, measurement systems or a similar technical discipline. Strong mechanical/electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience with calibration and preventative maintenance. A good understanding of quality and measurement standards. The ability to work confidently without constant supervision . Excellent communication and customer service skills. A strong safety mindset. A valid CDL with no manual transmission restriction and a good driving record. Relevant technical qualifications or trade certification are a plus. What makes this opportunity stand out? Variety.
